This course is the third in a sequence of three courses providing a practical evidence-based approach to  diagnostic testing and pathophysiology in the primary care setting. Students will learn how to order, perform, and interpret the results of diagnostic tests, imaging studies, and electrophysiology studies most commonly used in primary care.

Special attention is given to identifying the underlying pathophysiology that results in abnormal test findings. Students will learn the indication for, sequencing of, and interpretation of results in tests and studies commonly used in the diagnosis of hematological diseases. Students will also learn basic principles of radiology for the chest and abdomen.
